Let WPL bring your group together by renting our meeting rooms at the Main Library.
Rooms are available during the following hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
Fridays: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sundays: unavailable
Audio visual equipment (TV and VCR, slide projector and screen, data projector, flip charts with paper) is available for your meeting in the library for a fee.
In October 2008, our meeting rooms received some updating. The auditorium was newly carpeted. Our boardroom was completely refinished with new furniture, paint and carpeting.

Payments and arrangements for room and equipment rentals must be completed 7 days prior to your event. If cancellation is necessary, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required, otherwise no refund will be given.
Over 1,600 people visit the Waterloo Public Library every day. Why not take advantage and let them know who you are in the community? The Main Library has a display case in the Dupont St. lobby available to promote businesses and organizations. The case is located beside the Central Circulation Desk.
The dimensions of the case in the Dupont Street lobby are 92 x 46 x 15. The dimensions of the case in the Albert Street lobby are 59 x 54 x 60. Glass shelves are available for the case and are adjustable.
The display case rental fees are $30.00 for 1 week, $60.00 for 2 weeks, $120.00 per month or $240 for two months. A deposit of $25.00 is needed in order to secure your reservation. The balance owing for the rental must be paid one month before the rental occurs.
If cancellation is necessary, one months notice is required otherwise refund will be forfeited. A late fee of $10.00 per day will be charged if displays are not removed on time.
